Conservatory Styles
Fairmitre’s timeless elegance conservatories are individually designed and manufactured from hardwood Meranti as standard or from other assorted timbers upon request to suit your requirements. We are not restricted by set sizes, styles or shapes – our conservatories are tailor made and built completely by our own dedicated, highly skilled craftsmen, and as our timber conservatories are constructed in our own factory fully under our control, we maintain an uncompromisingly high standard.
The flexibility of our system enables us to produce conservatories of the highest technical specification and quality, from the simplest lean too, to the most complex designs.
Strength, simplicity of frame construction and architecturally designed roofs are combined to produce stylish and durable conservatories to suit all tastes.
The hardwood roofing system has fully moulded timbers traditionally ‘Birds Mouthed’ onto the adjoining ring beam. The outside of the roof is fully maintenance free with aluminum capping, Exitex crest and finial. These come in either brown or white as standard or can be powder coated in any RAL colour to match your conservatory frames.
PVC-u Conservatories
Fairmitre PVC-u conservatories are internally beaded and supplied and installed using Rehau S706. All frames are available in Clean White, Rich Mahogany/Rosewood or Warm Light Oak. The frames can also compliment your inside décor by having a White finish internally and Light Oak or Mahogany/Rosewood externally.
With the Rehau S706, not only is it a slim, stylish product, it also promotes excellent thermal efficiency, low maintenance, greater security and used with Pilkington ‘K’ double-glazing, reduces outside noise.
Combined with the Global roofing system with our PVC-u conservatories you are sure to have created an attractive and versatile lifestyle choice.
Material can range from 25mm polycarbonate in bronze, clear and opal or why not upgrade to a clear or tinted glass roof. Spoil yourself and have the new revolution in glass – Pilkington’s Active the world’s first self cleaning glass and combined with Active blue offers self cleaning properties with solar control performance.
Our team of craftsmen start with the preparation of your site, stripping the foundations for a dwarf wall which is then taken up to DPC and then up to 600mm in bricks to match your existing house brickwork. A concrete floor is then laid to a trowel finish at the required level ready to take your final choice of floor covering. All waste material will then be taken away from site.
Our experienced and trained team of Fairmitre fitters install the frames carefully, paying attention to detail and weather-proofing. Window-boards are then fixed on internal ledges.
Plastic gutters are taken to a provided soak-away and these come in white or brown as standard, or again can be powder coated in RAL colour to match your conservatory frames. Once your conservatory is complete, we make good, clear the site and leave the area tidy.
Finally to complete your new living space, we can undertake electrical fittings, lay down laminate or ceramic floor tiles, and also provide blinds and cane furniture.

The type of ventilation needed is specific to each conservatory. We know you expect the optimum performance from your conservatory. You expect a room for all seasons, an enjoyable and comfortable addition to your home. The management of the conservatory environment temperature, airflow and condensation is crucial to the all year round enjoyment of the conservatory.
You can choose not only your climate, but how you want to achieve control.
Roof vents are similar to a window they are a fast effective way of allowing warm air to leave your conservatory, available either with the traditional pole method, or electric with rain sensors that automate the whole process without you having to even think about it.
An electric Ridge flow ventilation unit is mechanically assisted and thermostatically controlled to provide up to 4 air changes per hour even when you’re out! (only available for PVC-u conservatories).
Contemporary and traditional roof ridge mounted fans for gentle air movement. These can be supplied with either a standard pull chain or infra red remote control and are available with or without lighting.
Air conditioning/heater unit which offers a super compact design and is fitted into your brickwork. The product range starts with heating and cooling from 3.5kw to 7kw and power input (cooling/heating) from 12kw.
